I am so happy and excited to post here that the newly renovated business is now open. Finally after almost a month of pocket aches   due to superb expenses, we can breath out of it. The construction and construction materials really soar high in their prices that made it a for real burden in renovating the shop. Now we can call it the shop not unlike for two years which was describe as a little hobby place. Now it’s spacious and we added nine more units. From formerly seven units. As much as I wanted to show some pictures of a before and after scene of what I am posting, unfortunately today I can’t. I am actually and literally competing of my time as the little Master is about to wake up (keep rolling beside me now ) and my files we’re not organized as I left in the server’s hard drive and to my own pc. ( I am currently borrowing mom’s) . Sooner I will. Good  thing my boss in my new work is in leave and not calling me to start my training immediately after holy week. ( I can’t remember if I posted in any of my blogs that I got hired last March, but fortunately given the chance when I would like to start, since I was rooting for the new account. ) I need to give some time for some accessories, notes, attractions added for the new shop before we leave everything to mom. Though mom is that techy, I still need to make sure that every thing inside the shop and the business itself is user friendly to a fifty year old techy granny. For she was looking over two precious for me while hubby and I will be at work. First our little master and next to it, the business we  can depend on our necessities.

Gotta update the pictures soon, the Master is kicking me now like telling me ” hey mommy I am awake” and giving me a priceless morning smile. I am starting to get hypnotized. LOL!

I’ve been very busy this past months,or should I say I can’t ask anyone neither mom nor hubby to take a look at the little master for a while because of the construction ongoing for the new shop. So taking care of the master solely eats all of my time. I had no choice besides though tired I am enjoying it. We’re actually rushing things especially about this renovation because anytime this week I might be back working same as hubby.  We need to set up first the business structure before we leave it and get back to work since we can’t still find a nanny that will accompany mom and the little master. I am glad that few days left and we can finally run the new shop. It wasn’t easy having a construction ongoing at home. The mess, dust and the safety as well. Plus the fact that the construction reached the Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Which is actually feast (Easter Sunday) here in our place. We had to stop for days to give respect with the current season. Good thing the mess outside and in front of our house helps to not attract conveyancing solicitors which increases their numbers if it’s feast in a certain place. Things that excites us now is the opening of new and more spacious shop. Hubby and mom is busy for the set up of the computers while me, other than being the little masters slave, I am also assigned for the designs, rules making, services offering lists. Some small tasks that I can do without leaving the baby alone. Since we were only three adults here, we need to maximize each others capability and flexibility in tasking.

The renovation has been started two weeks ago. After the long wait for the renovation finally it started. Now were actually thinking of the interior of the new shop. It’s not actually renovation what had happened. It’s actually building a new shop beside the old one. This is one of the advantage having a good place. The business will not be opt from operating while constructing the new one. So it happened that the business is not interrupted while there is a construction. The expenses being paid off by continue operating. We need to wait for three more weeks to continue the construction because we need to wait for the roof to dried and strengthen before we proceed with the finishing touches.  As we started planning we already have an idea what to place and how to arrange the new shop. From the construction, the paint, the window and other accessories. But it’s more different visualizing it now as we see the box. We were planning of using a corner desks   that serves  our counter. Since it will be placed exactly in the corner. This helps to maximize the space. Aside from using it, we also want to use metal chairs for the customers. Currently we only have three metal chairs. In a business like ours, the furniture quality is important. The thought that we have a naughty consumers which doesn’t care of the chairs, plastic or monoblock chair is not a good option to use. In running for less than two years we experienced changing chairs every two months. It’s not convenient and safe effective. These were some of the plans that we need to think of for the opening of the new shop in less than a month. Hopefully we can open the new shop before summer.

We’re both jobless. Hubby and me currently works with our little business. The sad part is when we’re both jobless expenses keep on blocking our way to business renovation. Though a sad thing yet still we’re thankful and got no regrets for all of those expenses blocking us is also  for the reason why we would like to earn. For our little darling.

From last year and probably until this month big events of our life happens and will happen. So for the renovation, little by little we’re starting to buy what we will be needing while the main focus is on the darling’s christening event. Fortunately hubby bought some useful items, monitors and office chairs in their former company which serve important roles in our small business  deducted to his severance pay. It has been sold twice cheaper than the ones sold in the malls. Great deals since hubby knew that prior declaration of their company’s bankruptcy their department just bought new same items as I mentioned above. Silly hubby who took the advantage to saved a lot. So he knew what are those just new.

We will not having a grand baptism event. Just a simple one but still it will be needing a focus and most especially budget. Including sometimes in our list those little stuff that the business needs reminded us for what to be the next in line to prepare for.
